On the first Wednesday of every month we meet at 7.30pm in the church hall to pray for the needs of the church, the nation and the world.

Over the summer these will be taking place weekly and we’ll be joined by our sister church St Paul’s from Little Eaton.

Meeting weekly on Tuesdays at 9.15am in the church. A short service from the Book of Common Prayer followed by a time of open prayer.

Our Annual Holiday Club is BACK this year.

We’ll be running from Wednesday 28th August to Friday 30th August 2019!

Book your place by emailing holiday club@stalkmundsduffield.co.uk

We’ll also be holding the Holiday Club BBQ on the Sunday following the Holiday Club Service. Sunday 1st September 10am.

And if you can’t wait until then, don’t forget that Sparks meets every 1st Sunday of the month, where the fun just never stops!

Hope to see you there! Along with Sparkie and the rest of the gang!!

The Men’s Group meets monthly, on 3rd Wednesdays at 7.45pm in the Parish Hall (see notices for any changes).

We will be meeting to discuss a few chapters of a book and supporting one another. The book is “Making Sense of God.” by Timothy Keller. If you’ve not been before, why not give it a go this term?

Due to the Current restrictions in place, we are unable to meet and the church building is closed to everybody. This includes any Public Acts of Worship.

Our 10am service can be found on our YouTube page here https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCTHC9LYm7oj-O7JlJnTtBAw  and our 6.30pm service is not currently taking place. At 4.30pm, our sister church, St Paul’s have a service available on the above link and you are more than welcome to join us there.

Please stay safe and stay well.

Our Sunday services are at the heart of our church life as we meet to hear from God through His Word (usually following an expositional sermon series each term), encourage one another in fellowship and praise God in worship. Within the context of a Common Worship service-format, we seek to have an accessible and relatively informal feel in our Sunday services, respecting and reflecting the wide range of different denominational backgrounds and personalities represented in our congregation. Most Sunday services feature both a traditional organ and a music-group, with a mix of well-known hymns and contemporary worship songs, which reflect the Biblical theme and teaching each week. You would be very welcome to join us at any of our services.  There’s no dress code or seating plan, and the services tend to last around an hour and a quarter.

Easily accessible toilets are available throughout the service in the adjacent church hall including baby changing facilities.

Songs of Praise is normally held on the first Monday of every month (but watch out for bank holidays), at 2pm, in the Parish Hall.

All are invited to join us for a half hour service singing well-known and well-loved hymns with a short talk followed by tea, coffee and cakes.  We are currently thinking about different attributes of God.  Hymn requests also welcome!
