The Hall is situated by St. Alkmund’s Parish Church. Its address is Duffield Parish Hall, Church Drive, Duffield, Belper and its postcode is DE56 4BA. View Map.
When not in use by the Church, it can be hired for children’s parties, celebrations, occasional classes, fund-raising events, public meetings and concerts. Please note that the hall is not available on Sundays.
There is wheelchair access either from the churchyard or from church and 3 toilets, one of which is arranged for a wheelchair user and also has baby changing facilities.
The hall accommodates 70 people seated and at tables (round or rectangular), or 120 for a standing event such as a buffet. There are also some lower tables and chairs suitable for small children. There is internet access (please ask for the Wi-Fi code if required), and a screen and projector are available.
The kitchen is well-equipped with 2 sinks, kettles, water boiler, dishwasher, gas oven, 6-burner hob, fridge and freezer, microwave and all the crockery, cutlery and glasses necessary for producing a cooked meal for 70 or a buffet and light refreshments. There is also access to a small outdoor courtyard.
There is ample Car Parking on Church Drive.
